Happy New Year!

                                            I want to wish a Happy New Year to everyone!
For me, 2011 was full of events, love, achievements, new buddies and reaching some of the targets i have set to myself. Hopefully, 2012 will be even better for me and everybody else! Soon i will begin thinking about my 2012 resolutions and plans, but right now I want to enjoy the last day of 2011 and spend it together with my friends and J.

Little ASOS order

 I am a devoted ASOS fan for quite a while now, especially I love shopping there during sales and getting some amazing pieces for fragment of the original price(who doesnt?).

  So there was one dress which i had in my wishlish for almost a year, but i never bought it since i figured that 130e for an ASOS brand dress was a bit too much but I liked it so much that i never deleted it from my list in hopes of some discount =). So after a year of my patience I finally got rewarded, they dropped the price to 80e and i decided that i cant wait anymore because I just craved for it!
But then my size got sold out :( so, for 3 days and nights, I was constantly refreshing the page hoping that my size will reappear (happens often!), and finally today my size was bag and I bought my new baby immediately. Here it is:

Old makeup and skincare

I can say that this weekend is one of the worst weekends of the year when it comes to my physical well being. My insomnia is driving me insane and i stay awake until 6 am, feel like zombie next day and basically fall asleep any minute, so i end up napping which leads to me staying awake entire night again. Endless cycle. So today i will try to force myself to stay awake until it is a right time for bed.
So while being awake last night, i came up with 2 good things. 1-I will try to go on a low-carb diet, lets see how it will work out and 2-i found one helpful website: Click me! Just like any girl, i have a lot of makeup and skincare products and samples, they gather into huge piles and none has an expiration date on them. So this website helps to track expiration dates and find out if you can still use your products or not. All you need is to pick the brand and find a code on the product. Simple! I checked my stuff yesterday and some went straight into trash! Not cool to put a cream on my face which is produced in 2006!

Lazy weekend

This Saturday it was incredibly hard to wake up and the rainy grey weather outside did not help either. So me and J had crawled out of the bed late noon and also managed to have a nap meanwhile. Now it is time for a dinner and we both are too lazy to make that 5 min walk to the grocery shop, so we decided to order some Italian food home and just enjoy our lazy evening together and watch movies.
Meanwhile I decided to bring my blog back from dust and forced Jussi to promise to take photos of me when needed. It is a boring blog without photos, right?

I am back!

Yeah, its been a while since the last update... I know... but those dark and rainy autumn days had made me lazier than i usually am and I decided to cheer myself up with some colors and bling. Here are few things I have my eyes on at the moment and hopefully some of them will end up in my closet.

Fancy skirt with a plain sweater

Lately I love the combination of a festive skirt dressed down with a simple (generally grey) sweater or shirt. Today I will digg in my closet and see if I can come up with a similar combos. BTW the black lace skirt from Zara is in my wishlist at the moment as well. (pic 1 and pic 4)

New LV love

I am in love again with another LV  bag, well, bags actually. For a while I was looking for an ultimate little clutch or a bag to go out with and have my hands free most of the time, so some kinnda handle or chain was a must.
And when I stumbled across those beauties, they just seemed perfect instantly and the pictures on them are too cute to resist as well. =) Which one is your favorite?

Mango vs Miu Miu

Yesterday I was browsing through the Mango website in search of some new items I might like and came across a very cute dress which was somehow familiar to me. After a while I remembered where i had seen it, Miu Miu had a very similar dress in their collection (well I guess Mango made a similar dress from Miu Miu and not other way around). To be honest, I like Mango dress more, I will go and check it out on Monday in the shop. Compare yourself:

Dressing up my bed

Just ordered new bed linen from H&M, recently I am more into classy and simple designs and sometimes I regret not decorating my apartment in simple white and black shades. Those linen look so crispy and welcoming, cant wait to fall asleep in them! (aaaand they were approved by J, a rare thing since we have a very different tastes in interior design)  

ASOS purchases

Few days ago I have received my order from ASOS. I totally love the dress and now wait for the occasion to wear it. Shoes are super cute but I need a bit less rainy weather to wear it and do some short distance walking in them since heel is super high and the shirt is just ok, will work good under some blazer for example.

Olivia Palermo´s blog!

In my opinion a totally awesome gossip is spreading all over Internet and fashion blogs! Olivia Palermo is about to launch her personal blog at the end of this month according to an interview she gave to one magazine recently. I am totally thrilled with it, since I think Olivia has a magnificent style and she is able to throw together items from Zara or TopShop together with the latest designer creations.

If I could change my size...

Sickness is still ongoing and slowly creeping towards J, first signs are there already =(

Since i am super bored at home, I am browsing through online shops and found amazing shoes by Michael Kors, which are on the awesome sale at yoox.com from 248eur to 59eur, and which I would have  bought immediately if there would be my size, those which are left are too small or too big. Damn! Damn! Damn!

Sick day and Autumn cravings

Since Autumn is in Helsinki already, I am shifting to a warmer wardrobe. I feel like wearing trousers (im a dress girl), darker colors and glossy leather. Above is a small collage with a few items which I am craving for this season and considering purchasing. Perhaps not everything or not at once, but I want all those babies at home with me and I promise to take a very very good care of them.))))

Since this is my first actual post in this  blog, it is a bit sad to confess that I dont have much exciting news to share, as I am stuck at home with a cold i caught this weekend. However, it was brightened up with a little package I got from ASOS with a dress and a shirt. I dont have energy to try them on and take photos, but as soon as I will get ready, i will share them on this blog. I also have 2 packages waiting at the post for me, maybe J can pick them up today or tomorrow and there will be more nice things to show.
